Do you want the buyers agent
to spend time prepping your home,
or actually show your home?
Before the scheduled home showing appointment starts, try these two time savers for agents:
1. Turn on All Lights
I will never forget the listing agents who inform me, “Please show up to the showing 20-30 minutes early to turn on all lights.” One of the instances, the home had 6000 square feet, several light switches in every room. It took 30 minutes to turn on all lights, and 30 minutes to turn them all off. That is an hour of light switch time. To allow for more quality viewing time, as opposed to using showing time to take care of tasks, I suggest sellers turn on all lights.
2. Open Curtains/Blinds
Again, this is a time saver, and the buyers can see how beautiful your home looks with natural light.
