As the weather outside gets colder, I can’t help but to think back to when we had the snowstorm during Valentine’s week in 2021. I call it “Snowmagedon”.

Several homeowners had plumbing nightmares.

Several homeowners lost power, and heat.

The aftermath took weeks, or months, to recover from.

Some say that weather a once in a lifetime occurrence, but some people fear that it is going to be the same, or even worse in 2022.

Winter Items That I Will Need This Year

  • Couple cases of water bottles.
  • Coffee
  • Paper plates, and plastic utensils. When our water was out, I did not want to waste our drinking water on dishes.
  • Prepackaged ready to eat meals and snacks.
  • A SNOW shovel. All we had was a garden shovel, and it was miserable.
  • Salt for the sidewalks.

Above all else, it is better to think smart and ahead, but not to overbuy and hoard. Purchase what you need, so others can have items as well.
