Can you believe the 4th of July will be here in 13 days? Not only does this holiday celebrate the anniversary of national independence, but it also is another way to get together with friends and family.

The EGuide in Tyler, Texas will take you to a calendar of local events going on all over East Texas. Maybe this year, you could visit another city in East Texas to celebrate the USA?

Although it is on the 4th of July, it may be the first 4th of July in your new home. Some of my clients have asked me When to Throw a Housewarming Party? Pairing your housewarming party with a holiday is a wonderful way to warm up to inviting people over. Maybe your friends and family can bring their favorite potluck dish, and enjoy the opportunity to tour your new home. Especially with this time of year, you could even encourage your guests to dress in red, white, and blue!

When people think about the 4th of July, and red, white, and blue, fireworks are associated with this holiday. Fireworks are a very popular choice, but Please Celebrate With Caution. Sometimes friends can get the “wanderlust”, and go all out for fireworks. Adults, children, pets, and even your home could be at risk for a firework gone wrong. With that in mind, please think about safety while you are celebrating America.

One of my favorite ways to celebrate being an American, and Independence Day, is by listening to music. Some of my favorite songs are:

Ray Charles America the Beautiful

Lee Greenwood God Bless the U.S.A.

Brooks and Dunn Only in America

Toby Keith Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue

However, you celebrate Independence Day, be proud to be an American! I am so incredibly thankful to call this country my home. I hope you and your family have a wonderful and safe 4th of July.
